Deletes the project in GitHub. The issues that were on it are untouched — a card is not the issue — and every one of them stays in its repository.

Refused with 409 while a portal request type names it, because a request type with a destination that no longer exists would fail on the customer’s next submission rather than on this call. The refusal names the request types.

On a personal account, refused with 403 before anything reaches GitHub: neither the App nor your own linked GitHub account can delete a project there, for the same reason neither can create one. Delete it on GitHub directly; Pealboard stops listing it on the next sync.

The cached project is marked deleted rather than removed: items and the activity trail still point at it.

Access. Requires the admin role or above (admin, owner). Deleting a project deletes it in GitHub, for everybody in the organization, and GitHub does not undo it. API-key scope: projects:write.

Billing. Refused with 402 while the workspace’s billing has lapsed. Reads continue and nothing is deleted.
