Disconnect GitHub
const url = 'https://api.pealboard.com/v1/github/installation';const options = {method: 'DELETE', headers: {Authorization: 'Bearer <token>'}};
try { const response = await fetch(url, options); const data = await response.json(); console.log(data);} catch (error) { console.error(error);}curl --request DELETE \ --url https://api.pealboard.com/v1/github/installation \ --header 'Authorization: Bearer <token>'Unbinds the installation from this workspace. Syncing stops, no webhook is applied to this workspace again, and every route that writes to GitHub answers 404 for the installation.
It does not uninstall the App on GitHub, and it cannot: the installation belongs to the GitHub account, not to Pealboard, and removing it is done from that account’s settings. What this changes is what Pealboard does with it. The sentence to give somebody is: Pealboard has let go of the connection, and GitHub still lists the App until you remove it there.
The cached issues, comments, projects and portals stay. They are what the workspace has already read, nothing about them is a live GitHub credential, and a workspace that reconnects the same installation finds its own history rather than an empty product. Reconnecting is POST /v1/github/installation, which revives the binding.
Already disconnected is a 200: this says what the workspace’s state is, not what this particular request changed.
Access. Requires the admin role or above (admin, owner). Disconnecting GitHub stops every sync and every write in the workspace, which is an administrative act and not a member’s. API-key scope: github:write.
Billing. Refused with 402 while the workspace’s billing has lapsed. Reads continue and nothing is deleted.
